About Roundabout Canberra

CBRmade is proud to be partnering with Roundabout Canberra to support local families in need through the cold Canberra winter.

Roundabout Canberra is a wonderful volunteer-led organisation that collects quality pre-loved and new items for re-distribution to families and kids in need. They work closely with not-for-profits and other community services to get what’s needed most to the families who need it most in Canberra, Queanbeyan, and surrounds.

We’re setting aside some space at the CBRmade Etsy Made local winter makers market for Roundabout Canberra to accept physical and financial donations.

Coming in to winter, the most in-demand items are winter coats for kids between 1 and 16 years old.

So how can you help? Go through all the wardrobes in the house for those jackets that are still in good nick, but not getting enough wear, or that your kids have grown out of. Give them a wash, and bring them with you to the CBRmade winter makers market. Leave them with the good folk at Roundabout Canberra and know they will be put to very good use by those in need.

Don’t have any coats? No problem. You can help in other ways!

– Visit Roundabout Canberra on Facebook or Instagram to see what else is in demand.

– Visit Roundabout Canberra’s website or the CBRmade winter makers market to contribute financially.

Roundabout Canberra put your financial donations to good use. For every pack that goes out to a child worth on average $450, it costs Roundabout Canberra roughly $100. These costs include things like cleaning products, maintenance on-premises, business expenses such as insurance, replacement parts for donated goods, and a few items that they have to buy new – like baby gates, car seats, prams, wipes, nappies, and toiletries. Anything you can donate will help them support local families in need.
